The course in Television Production, Direction and Presentation is designed to cover all areas of television but the majority of our training is dedicated to these three areas. For example, those interested in presentation will get a unique opportunity to learn from current presenters, benefit from workshops in front of camera and present their own programmes in a multi-camera studio during our practical training sessions. We also cover other areas of television direction and production, including research, camera work, floor management and vision mixing and multi camera studio directing. Throughout our training the emphasis is on practical work, the majority of the course is spent in studio gaining invaluable hands-on experience.

The course is designed to build up your confidence and knowledge of television and your preferred subject, we are not expecting students who feel they are the ’finished article’, we are conducting training courses, so you can expect to be educated and encouraged with personal advice and guidance provided throughout.

Upon application you will be provided with a course folder and notes appropriate to each session. A certificate will be issued at the end of the course, stating that you have attended The Bil Keating Centre course in Television Production, Direction and Presentation.

The centre provides an excellent back up service, supporting the students and providing details on auditions and opportunities in the production sector. For further information on upcoming training programmes, please use the contact section of this site.
